AGOSTO 2008 (2008, AUGUST)

Non riesco a credere di aver inserito l'ultimo post da più di un mese!
Sono successe talmente tante cose, tra ferie e un pupo in arrivo, che mi sono un po' distratta... e come dopo ogni lunga assenza devo superare una specie di blocco per ricominciare a scrivere qui; lo stesso mi sta succedendo con l'arcolaio, che mi guarda con il suo filo che pende e mi chiede " ma quando la finiamo questa stupenda lana viola?"
Eh, ora ricomincio...

In realtà lavori a maglia ne ho fatti; sto procedendo con il Pinwheel, che sta diventando un cerchio di lana enorme, ho quasi finito una copertina a quadri per il pupo (sono corsa a comprare la lana appena finita l'ecografia!) e un paio di meravigliosi Saartje's booties rossi.

Soprattutto ho pensato a un sacco di progetti per le prossime stagioni a venire, come sempre da anni la fine di agosto, anche se di fatto è ancora estate, mi porta un sacco di idee magliesche, e questa volta anche di progetti. Ci ho rimuginato un bel po' e ho deciso che voglio provare a creare una sorta di mie piccole collezioni realizzate con i miei filati, sto studiando come procedere ma se non mi butto ora non lo faccio più!

Un mese di silenzio quante cose può portare...: niente, magari solo riposo, oppure nuova vita, in tutti i sensi. Per me questa è un po' una costante, credo di aver pensato e fatto le scelte migliori sottovoce, a sorpresa per chi resta fuori.
Credo che il prossimo periodo sarà, se possibile, ancora più irrazionale e incasinato degli ultimi passati, magari anche il blog cambierà, chissà.

Can't believe it's a month I havn't been writing a single post!
So many things happened, between holidays and a baby coming, that I've been a bit absentminded... and like after every long absence now I've to overcome a sort of block to restart posting here; the same thing is happening with my spinning wheel that looks at me with the same thread hanging, and asks " when are we going to finish this great violet yarn?"
Eh, now I'm starting againg...

Actually I'vE done a lot of knitting; I'm proceeding with the Pinwheel, that's becoming a huge woolen circle, I've almost finished a baby squared blanket (I ran to buy some yarn as soon as I had finished the ultrasound...), and a pair of lovely red Saartje's booties.

Above all, I thought about loads of plans for the next seasons coming, as usual for years the end of august, though basicly it's still summertime, brings lost of knitting ideas to me, this time also many purposes. Mulled much over that, and decided to create my own small collections kntted with my handspun yarns; I'm still studying next steps, but if I don't jump into this now I'll probably won't do later!

A month of silence can hide many things... possibly nothing, or just some rest, or new life in any sense. To me this is a sort of constant, guess I thought and made the best choices in an undertone, surprising who stays out.
§Guess next months will be, if possible, even more irrational and messy than the passed ones, perhaps also the blog is about to change, who knows.
