BUONI PROPOSITI (GOOD INTENTIONS)

-----------------

Don't know if it happens to you too, but as soon as I finish a work I'm full of good purposes to start knitting some others, and, especially if it suites fine, maybe making some pindaric flights on new tecniques or garments never tried or even more...
For example, few thoughts came to my mind:

1. THE MOST DILIGENT: to finish and fix all the interrupted garments, left in my yarn basket (that's becoming a knotty agglomerate of threads and needles...); in this purpose there are: my husband's pull, with a wrong neck, to undo and knit again - flowery wrap cardigan, the sleeves need to be fixed they're too large by the armholes - ribbed jacket, I completely mistook the raglan, I wish to undo it all and knit a Bobblicious (see wishlist).

2. THE MOST CONCRETE: to finish at least one of the strong pieces posted above, and try some socks, after a cover for my mobile, since I've just bought a new one and I don't want to ruin it shortly.

3. THE MOST PICARESQUE: after all I wrote above, to study a couple of new patterns, that I already have in my mind, and see what comes out... I won't anticipate anything about this!

4. THE MOST VISIONARY: it's most of all a dream, in which I start spinning and dyeing my own yarn, I learn to weave, have my own lab in which I can dismanage, and that one day might become a substitute for my office, as the place where I spend most part of my days.

What an escalation! ...not bad isn't it? Anyhow it doesn't cost much to dream, and above all it's a granted anti stress. Just think about the nth bothering from your boss, collegue, supplier etc. and as they invest you with atrain of words, you only think out how to solve a brainteaser pattern, or just watch yourself from above while knitting... what to say more?

Time will tell which note I may cross out from my good purposes...
